Gran Torino

I went to see Gran Torino today with some trepidation that at least one of the bad reviews would be on the mark. I can happily say though, that said reviewer had his head up his ass at the time of his piece. This movie is a fine piece of work that will surprise you if you think you are only going to see another “Clint” movie.

This film made me think about not only intolerance, but also filial relationships, happiness, and honor. Sure, there are some predictable plot devices, but, overall a solid film that left few dry eyes in the house as well as a stationary audience come credits.

Do see it.
