The test came and she passed.

I don’t care what the cops say… Just giving in only leads to more potential abuse and maybe death. Now this guy really wanted a car, I mean a VW microbus? In any case, this lady’s fast reflexes and instinct may have saved her life. Sure, the guy didn’t shoot her when he had the chance, but that isn’t to say he wouldn’t have in a concealed place and where he felt comfortable.

Now, of course had she had a bobcat .22 in her bag or on her hip then this story might have been much shorter… Just sayin…

  1. If the police refuse to be accountable to me for their failure to protect me, then I think their attempts to persuade people not to protect themselves is nothing other than abject cowardice. “We won’t protect you and you shouldn’t, either.”

Yes. Her test came. She passed. She gets to spend the rest of her life knowing she is not a victim and is not helpless. The bruises will fade. The nightmares will cease. Those who do not act are not so fortunate.
